It's a well known issue so whatever the problem is, it was there before being powered up. It's not suddenly keeled over from having standby voltage for 5 seconds. It's the new RRoD, some of those were out of the box (like one of mine)

Well... sorry haters in the world, but I certainly like the console. Remote play is great and actually works (not like the VITA failed attempt) - playing Wii U in the bedroom upstairs, with the console located in the living room.
I cant find anything i dont like about it, everything works great and the 2 player stuff on mario with one person playing on the tv and the other making platforms on the pad is fantastic fun for the kids...
Im sure plenty of people will dismiss it without actually playing it but in terms of making a console for people to play their style of games on, i dont think nintendo could have done any better...
