But Barry Island's not far out from there

Aye There's also another pub (quite geeky, also sells ok beer) with a bunch of cabs (mainly tabletops), but not on freeplay.

Is Barry Island still there? I went there a long time ago with friends on a bank holiday and was refused admission as we looked like trouble makers..... We were 4 teenage country bumpkins from Bath, God knows what they thought we were going to do.

Drink cider and smoke weed?
We got refused entry to Ross's local on Saturday. Some old guy got the fear that we were going to kick off.
"No football fans or large groups". Yeah, because we're both of that. I reckon my jacket just messed his head up.
I'd be happy to go to one of these, if I can afford to go wherever it will be
Hmm oh I remember some pub having some cabs around here, I just always forget about it.. the Trafford Centre can be fun for a few minutes I wish they had a better game selection too...

8face plam* so thats what? 99% of the UK who actually go to pubs and bars. I guess next time you need to go in one by one with a space of about a min and a half in-between?

That's a pretty good pub; very geek/gamer friendly. We held the 2008 Sega8bit meet-up there and the owner was great (all pre-arranged, naturally - he supplied us with a bunch of TVs). They had another retro event there the week after IC09 (I was too busy with my new cab to care :awe:) and have monthly (?) retro computer nights.
