Looking back at Crackdown, neither of them are looking in the direction they are shooting. Minor point too that guy on the right seems to be firing bullets from his rifle and his grenade launcher (trigger for which is drawn behind his left hand)

maybe they're just letting a few rounds loose to blow off some steam after a tough day in hell or wherever the **** they are? Doesn't explain his grenade launcher firing bullets though.

lol also at Dan Dare - he looks hot with that red lippy. I can't quite place the expression on the Mekon's face.
