Looks like a genuine bidder. Last 2 had 500 and 180 feedback.

Good deal for the seller.

They won't though, more than likely it will be collected and delivered and it would be too late once its at the house.

For that money, the non-working power supply is bound to cause a big problem. Shark really should look at doing a quick fix.

For ****'s sake

Non-working PSU, cracked CP, no lock catches, keys, bulb or marquee holder, and who knows if the monitor even works?

Nearly £1,200 figuring in delivery plus another couple of hundred getting it up to scratch.

The buyer's going to be gutted when (if) they start doing their research, surely.

I wonder if the buyer will venture over here during the course of the repairs and see by just how much he's overspent

The buyer must have either really wanted it or neglected to scope out previous eBay prices. From memory the Astros Jeff lists on eBay from time to time are generally around half the price and fully working.

I guess at the end of the day it's the buyer's money to do with as he so wishes. Silly chap.

Your Astro was a bargain then Mark! :D haha

I think ebay is for mugs (buyers) as lots of items sell for more than they should do. I watch some items (like Blu Rays/newish games etc) and these can sell for the same price (sometimes more) than they sell for on Amazon! I just dont understand peoples thought process. I can only assume they get caught up in a bidding war and get carried away.

Can be a pain on eBay thoug selling. I recently put up an item which was 'collection only, cash on collection'. Was a BIN so someone bought it, paid via PP and told me they were sending a courier! I phone him up and told him that won't fly and refunded him the PP payment and made him pay via BT as I didnt want the item leaving me (with no proof of postage) and then they could of (not saying they would) refunded the PP payment. I have heard of that going on so...

Got another guy who bough a stereo who I have been waiting 10 days for payment. Keeps telling me he will pay but never does. I would go mental on his **** if I didnt want the sale so bad! :D

**** eBay! Its good to get things out an noticed though, especially if your looking for a quicka sale and price it right , **** sells quick as it looks like a mega bargain compared to everyone else selling.

Haha! You're well out of pocket  :awe:

Yep, eBay's definitely the place for folks to target the uninformed buyer

Prices were already generally over-inflated to cover eBay/PayPal fees (& seller greed) but now seem even more so in order to compensate for the wonky postage method restrictions etc. :problem:
