I found a problem with the optional game continue patch.
As far as I recall, I was in level 10 and lost my last life right after bursting a water bubble. That caused the Bub "Insert Coin" animation to start while the water jet killed all remaining monsters. The game changed to level 11 while Bub exited the screen (since I had not hit the coin/start buttons) but then simply it did not end! Everything continued to run as normal except that Bub was not there...
I will try to look into that, but it is not something easy do reproduce.

If I had to guess, I would say one of the EPROMs is fault or not well connected, most likely "bb5", since the other two should be good for the code to reach the point were that initial message is displayed. By now, I think very unlikely that the patch has some HW dependent issue not reproducible on MAME.
On my BB bootleg, eproms to replace are the number 3,4,5 ?
Also how can i use xdelta if there are no .patch or .xdelta files ?
If you are using the link provided by Ian, it already has all the patches applied, so you don't need to worry about xdelta tool.
You just need to burn the bb3, bb4 and bb5 files and replace the EPROMs marked as 3, 4 and 5 in your board, respectively.
I've played through the new patch - up to the round 50 and I noticed if you collect the golden door, that you jump every time to round 63.
normaly it must go up to round 70.

You should record a video of your gameplay, you must be a champion.
