Splatterhouse seemed fine for me on my lower specced P4 box with frame delay 1. Got the occasional blip where it sounded like it was clipping, but no stuttering at all.
Apologies for the late reply mate, been playing with my new retro pad adapters from sparrows domain...awesome!! thanks for checking this...sounds like my issue too!! Almost perfect can be so frustrating!!
Quick video example of what I think I'm finally happy with. I could mess around a bit more with transitions and alpha transparencies... Maybe when I get a ton more time.
Like the new animated layout too , never wanted to go down the vid route but yours is the nicest implementation I've seen tbh...think i'll stick with the snaps though!
