Same. I regret buying Blasts and Aeros instead of Astros (and paying more, even). I'm an idiot.

What do you regret about buying a Blast? Quality, build?

Blasts have those flatter monitors in them so it's harder to get pleasing geometry on them, also parts and replacing the monitor is I assume way harder, upside is you can toss a 360 in there with just a VGA cable which is why I always wanted one. Someone I know 10 years ago had a monitor on theirs die and they put a flatscreen in it (this was ages ago). I had a chance to buy a Bass Fishing Blast one time for only $550 but it had monitor burn and would have needed a new panel and control hardware obviously, I was in the middle of restoring my Astro so I passed, I also never liked the top for some reason.

I'd take an Astro over a Blast any day purely on aesthetics, don't like the look of Blasts at all, think the big marquee looks silly.

Would still take an Aero over an Astro though. I much prefer metal cabinets and smaller 25/26 inch monitors.

Only down side I found was my old Aero looked a little bit big beside my other metal cabinets with flush backs.

Blasts are a bit over the top indeed. Which is why I like 'em.

Are there any MV25UPs in the UK at all??

Edit: or is a six slot inside a U4 possible (should be, right??) and not considered an abomination? :lolno:

Astros look way better. Build quality is better too.

I much prefer dual res monitors over trisyncs. Also, I had zero use for the 31k functionality and the JVS features.

Ultimately, I ended up selling all of my eleven Blasts. I have a NAC coming from Japan, but I suspect it's going to be one of the last candies I'm ever buying, the price for them has gone bonkers.

I had my last wisdom tooth out yesterday & surprisingly no pain this morning so it must of been its time.

My teeth have been pretty crap lately with me been admitted into hospital with a root canal infection that blew my head up like a balloon but hopefully all ok now.

Luckily it was all on the NHS so only cost £65 for 2 root canals & the wisdom about 5 visits.

Does the NHS generally cover dental work? That's amazing, hope you're managing alright. My missus had her wisdoms out last year and ended up getting dry socket, was agonizing.

a Root canal over here in Ireland will cost between €550 and €800 per tooth. It's crazy money. Talking mid to high level PCB money :-o

Still cheaper than private with similar costs here to what you said above.

And that's after you've paid the initial consultation fee and before they put a crown or whatever on Mrs just got one done and it'll be close to 1700 -1800 all in when finished

Merry Birthday Orcade Ataku!

Below was my first post in June 2012. - What was yours?

Little did I know I would get my beloved Mini Cute (and many other cabs) on these here there forums.

Thanks to all involved in setting up and maintaining this lovely little place.

bloodhokuto wrote: June 24th, 2012, 4:49 pm Hello Chaps,

From Kent, I use the same handle at neo-geo forums.

Just signed up to try and find out about the capcom mini cute, as there is very little info about on this cab, and it's a nightmare trying to find one for sale.

I can't view the trading area, can't post new topics and can't use PMs so ill probably have fanny around here for a bit, posting links to viagra sales sites and gay porn before I get unleashed. I understand that's the usual procedure?

PM me at neo-geo if you want. ;)

Edit, never did post those viagra or gay porn links, PM me for more info.

As the gambling industry works towards a soulless digital future there is little room left for analogue fruits so these could be the next collectable cabs:
