I can't believe it! they did the same with Dr Pepper by silently changing the formulation with sweetener with no warning.

The ****.

I cant stand any diet drink, or drink with sweetener, it leaves a horrid aftertaste.

At present the only full fat soft drinks are:

i) Regular Coke
ii) Limited amounts of cherry Coke (they still do a sugar version if you can find it - mind you it tastes a bit 'off' so am not sure about that).

As far as I can tell there are no full sugar lemonades and Irn Bru only does limited batches of full strength stuff (but at least they do them).

I think you can still get some eastern european imports with sugar, and mexican ones too.

I think most sodas these days passed the sugar sweet spot long ago, i remember fanta used to taste like orange, now it just tastes like sugar, personally i find it hard to stomach a full can of almost any beverage.

Artificial sweeteners are disgusting, it blows my mind how that chemical aftertaste can be so popular...

..ill just stick to hard liqueuor thank you!

Back in 2018 when I was in the UK for couple of weeks my first visits to Sainsbury's and Tesco gave me a bit of a culture shock. Everything was sugar free! Aspartame triggers nasty migraines for me, so I can't touch that crap at all. I spent quite a while on my first day at Sainsbury's looking at all the sodas, and the only one with sugar I found was some "olde timey lemonadey" thing. Thankfully I found Bundaberg's root beer at a Tesco. Aussie stuff. Tasty too.

Big fan of Pepsi Wild Cherry despite the corn syrup. Got some coming this week. Also partial to a Mexican Coke. Even though ours has proper sugar as well, the Mexican stuff does taste different. More syrupy, a bit like Maccy D's Coke. Good with ice.

EDIT: Ohh ffs. Just picked up a bottle of Fentimans Curiosity Cola and they've done the same! That's the second time they've cut it. Tastes awful.

This. I kicked my caffiene habit (again) at the beginning of the year, and nowadays any kind of regular sugar intake gives me heartburn.

The quality and flavour of the water in this area is top notch (we get zero limescale), so straight out of the tap is fine.

The water in this area tastes weird, so I've not been able to drink tap water regularly since 2016. Quite sad, actually.

Costco bottled water for us, South East is the worst for limescale.
