Re: Final Vendetta MVS
Finally dug out my 360 fightstick a few weeks ago and got one of these Game Enhancer adaptors
Still playing it, great game. All the more fun playing on a proper stick rather than than a pad
Edit: The pic above makes the screen look a bit rubbish.
I'm running it through a lower res via an SLG and it does look lovely, I promise

Is that an OLED? I love the 25% scanline option in M2 ports, looks perfect.
Madcatz built those early TE sticks like a brick ****, mine is still cherry after 15+ years. Was so excited the first time I downloaded the Microsoft drivers for PC and it worked on emulators. PS3 sticks get the edge for working on near everything plug and play

Still waiting for the preordered Neo version. I hope they finally release it this year.

Re: Final Vendetta MVS
The Switch version got a heavy price dump locally. Should I pick this up? I heared many waved it of at first as a pretty barebone empty brawler, but actually has a deeper combat system than made obvious when you sink your teeth into it.

I think you've summed up the essence of the game. Its strength lies not only in its gameplay but also in its absolutely brilliant soundtrack. Never judge a book by its cover.aerobert wrote: November 14th, 2024, 8:11 am I heared many waved it of at first as a pretty barebone empty brawler, but actually has a deeper combat system than made obvious when you sink your teeth into it.

I’ve genuinely made a cable so that I can output the headphone signal to active speakers, and I’m getting some studio monitors specifically for this game!!Kretinou wrote: November 14th, 2024, 6:58 pmI think you've summed up the essence of the game. The FV soundtrack is actually already on Spotify and Apple Music (as well as loads more game OSTs than you’d think!!).
I made the cable with this game specifically in mind, but generally to improve the quality of the U4 speakers and largely to add external volume adjustment.
I’ve never been completely happy with the quality of the stock speakers, plus Fast Striker is conspicuously quieter than any other carts, and opening the cab and using the volume slider on the motherboard each time I play it in rotation is crap and inconvenient.
As my cab is used in a home environment, an external volume knob makes a ton of sense.
I also currently turn off sound in attract mode, but it’d be fun to have it on, and have the option to simply mute/turn down the speakers…

Re: Final Vendetta MVS
Yeah I have U4 as well and man those speakers are the worst. Sounds thinner than a mobile phone. I bought some 4 inch car speakers several years ago but never got around to replace them since I need to make some brackets and am lazy.

Re: Final Vendetta MVS
Would be interesting to know what the hold up is.
The price for the game went up at the end of the year. The standard version is now an eye watering 475 euros. With the MVS art set (which should have been included with the MVS kit) and shipping it's 511 euros.

Re: Final Vendetta MVS
I'm now managing to lose money by sleeping on games that haven't even been released yet. Impressive.
