For menus. The game assets are still 640 x 480, same as the 360 port. It will look best on a CRT.

I did wonder a while back if they might invent a new price tier for this one I really think there should just be a fixed price for kits...even prior to this release, it never really sat right having things like A&B costing 430 SGD more than the 'base' prices. Another 570 SGD on top of even A&B (for a total of 1000 over base) feels more than slightly opportunistic to me.

Indeed but they're only going to sell a few hundred kits. If we want to see new CAVE IP they're going to need a good return otherwise it'll just be more ports, if anything.

I guess it does make sense when you frame it like that - I just really don't like it as a strategy. It makes me think if we do ever end up with a new Cave IP - and I'm personally a bit skeptical that'll ever happen, irrespective of sales - they'd just add another 1000 SGD on to the SDOJ price.

I'm sure most won't care, though. I've been flirting with getting an exA - but the price of this (and the prospect of other killer apps/Cave ports at this price) is making me wonder...

I believe they're unlocks/surprises in typical CAVE fashion (like the Mushihimesama games)

I actually think A&B is quite keenly priced. It's not even available to the public in Japan and is considerably more expensive through distributors. It's the system's killer app and it's the same price as Kung Fu.

I'm guessing Score Attack and Arrange (BEEP says there are a choice of four cutouts).

This. I imagine CAVE won't be willing to produce anything new without a success on their hands.

Bear in mind companies like Capcom, Taito and Namco aren't even interested in releasing anything unless there's a huge cost/markup.
