Here is a stunning SVG POP which I picked up a few weeks ago along with the move strips and the operator sheet.

Still do. The IGS website lists SVG as one of their three current games still.

Thanks Paulie for all these pictures, the SVG arts looks great.

I purchase my 3 first IGS PGM 2 games:
_KOF98 UM hero
_KOV 3
_OL 2

The 3 games are really great, I love the visual aspect of OL2, KOV 3 is classical for a KOV but still great to play and KOF98 is really awesome, better than the TTX version in my opinion (visually this is closer to the classical KOF98).

KOF98UM Hero is still running normally with a dead battery but the calendar screen is always appearing at the beginning (it disappears after pressing start) and the options can't be saved.

No worries, it's good to share :)
Like everyone else I have a beestorm kit coming my way so I'll post some pics when it arrives. Would be nice if Yanton has hit the PGM mother load, same as when he was offloading thousands and thousands of dirt cheap MVS carts about a decade ago.

Nice, KOV3 and OL are both great! I've still not played KOF98 Ultimate on PGM2.

I've not changed a battery yet but iirc I think that I've read that they are unsoldered CR2032's.

So whats the difference between KOF98 onS, PGM and TypeX video-wise? I can imagine the TypeX being diferent becaue itll probably upscale, but what'the difference between MVS and PGM? (ignoring extra fighters/stages/etc)

This system looks really neat. I just discovered it and hadn't heard of it before! I hope they aren't too rare!

I look forward to starting to collect this system after just learning about it. I hope it's not too hard to find. I can get MVS boards for $40, what price should I be looking to play for one of these ( the system, not the games)

Around $100 for a good one. Give or take.
When buying PGM mobos, always ask for a picture of the battery area and check for battery acid damage.

Thanks for clarifying :) I'm new to all this. I'm not even sure how to rotate a mini cute monitor.

Just picked up a NOS DDP Beestorm 2 kit.

Nice system - love the encased mobo/cart system. Not a setup I was familiar with. Volume control is neat too, on the side casing.

I see there are some other Cave carts knocking around - are these hack jobs? If so, are they right on the money or run oddly? Quite fancy a Ketsui if I can find one - the PCB is getting daft expensive now... And that DDP DOJ...

Ketsui and DOJ on PGM are hacks using sacrificial carts. I seem to remember reading that they're badly made and the pcb's covered in spunk/hot glue. I spoke to a member here a while ago that had bought both and he reckoned the games are identical. I wouldn't line the guy that makes the carts pockets though and I'd suspect they'd be unreliable. I'd far rather pay the extra and have the originals. Aren't the bootleg carts circa £150? I'm sure someone here can confirm and give you more accurate info :)
