[kern impression]It's alright I guess.[/kern impression]

I'm a big fan of MVC2 and so far I'm not loving it like I should. Little things annoy me. Firstly, I'm not a big fan of the graphical style. It looks like a comic I guess and some of the backgrounds are nice. The animation when you activate a special move is a bit lame, especially compared to how fluid SFIV is in that department. I've also noticed some tearing, which is not cool in a fighter. The music is just ****, a wasted opportunity and I really hate the new assist/change on one button. Special moves in general are a bit too user friendly, like TVC. Despite this however, there does appear to be some depth here and the roster is outstanding. Arthur FTW! A decent fighter in its own right but it doesn't feel enough like MVC for my liking. More Marvel than Capcom, more TVC than SFIV.

Is MVC3 the normal Capcom 6 button layout? Although I love TVC I think it would of been better with 6 instead of 3 buttons.

Nope, well yes it's a bit like MVC2 with 4 buttons plus two for your other two characters but you tap to assist, hold to switch. Really gay.

Agrreed it slows everything down. Im guessing that the best time to swap out is during air combos but you can see me trying to switch from a mile off becuase i turtle up and back the **** off. Im playing around with phoenix a little becuase i can see her potnetial to cause a whole lot of ruckus but shes like . . . Well shes like akuma in MVC3. Deals it out the dammage like a monster but takes it like a littliest girl at the little girl school.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2W5AUmFqDY&NR=1"

You have to keep her as a last resort though. Right now im all in love with Super srukll and Arthur. Arthur has all these nice difrent projectiles . . . I can see myself getting in to this but im sat on the fence right now. I will know better once more people start playing it. Oh yeah and Online multiplayer is gimp'd Its just like SFIV and need to have a set up like SSFIV and **** fast or everyones going to jump back to SSFIV.

Fighting games usually get cheap real fast, so I will wait it out a month or two. I've always sucked at VS games. I just cant get my head around on wtf to do? B&B combo into launch into air combo,... sure sounds easy enough, I just cant execute. Would like to learn though as it looks like a lot of fun

:problem:

I've been playing this since yesterday..... I have to admit it's actually pretty good. Forget the SF characters, it's a polished Marvel advert.

Highlight.... Morrigan's strange Glasgow accent...

Yeah I suggest just waiting till it gets cheaper. Everyone I know that loved MVC2 really hates this game. But lets face it, it's really because it's new. In the states, when MVC2 first came out, everyone hated it. It took about a year for people to give it a chance. Now MVC2 is the only arcade fighting game Americans play. It's really gross... MVC3 is really a breath of fresh air... well, until people obsess over like MVC2 it then it might get annoying.

My team so far Arthur, Chris and Viewtiful Joe. :D

I bought it right away and after a few hours of play I really started getting in to it.
You have to put some time in to it to get the hang of it.
I really like it , and it's at it's best played with a couple of friends offline.
Capcom did a great job and I love them for still making these games.

I have been nothing short of extremely satisfied with Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. It has A LOT of combos / special moves for every character. And come on doing Hagger's arm swing around in a fighter, I mean it doesn't get any better then that. An absolute MUST! :D

this game is great..
I never liked MvC2 a whole lot.. SSF4 is kind of dull..
This is actually fun.. :D

still needs some online features, but they're on their way..

is there a Arcade Otaku xboxlive slave account to find some matches?
found: Pengo - original, Bubble Bobble - original
wanted: small jamma cab that will play them.. :P

Kinda dissappointed with the initial roster, lets hope there is lots and LOTS of DLC in the near future.

yeah, looking at it feels like they left out some key chars just to sell DLC.
The screws used to seal up this cart are wood screws. Nobody is going to waste good wood screws on a bootleg, they'd just use cheap electronic screws instead.

online play is **** up. You cant watch matches and you cant limit parties to non simple play mode which is stupidly over powred. Also whos bright idea was it to leave simple mode in ranked matches? Really? Your a **** idiot who ever it was.
