I got to admit I love the Data East games (I own). They are pure fun and the special cheesy Deco style is great. Never played Randy though.

We played Desert Assault for the first time some weeks ago with 4 players and it was a blast. Second best overhead run´n gun after Shocktroopers.

I think the only reason why someone would want to own Boogie Wings is because there are some elements which are not emulated.
The slideshow of environmental disaster shown by the main villain for example.

These days are over for me. Have slowly sold off my PCBs one by one over the past 5 years whenever I need money for something, only have a few left. Would like a CPS2 Darksoft, but never want to pull the trigger because it seems like these things always have updated/better boards, plus hard to tell if the Mister stuff won't just pull ahead at some point as that would be a better solution with some Cave stuff available. While I keep mulling it I just play teh romz and I stay satisfied. Can't imagine dropping hard coin on nearly antique PCBs now.

Very happy with what I have. All killer, no filler, and worth more than I could afford if I was starting out now so feeling #blessed.

There are a couple of missing pieces I'd like to get eventually. Probably said the same thing a few pages back when they were a fraction of the price. Stupid hobby.

I'm pretty much done as well, except for the remaining Sega Mega Play and MVS carts I need. With the Mega Play I don't think it's ever going to happen, but you never know.

I'm mostly lusting after exa games these days.

Scooped up Ninja Commando which was my last ‘must own’ MVS cart, but I still quite fancy Zupapa and I’m missing a fun, casual sports game (I already have Turf Masters and League Bowling)… Nothing wildly expensive though, maybe Windjammers, or Soccer Brawl??

Although i've been lusting after Violent Storm for a while, it's a bit expensive..

2025 is going to be refocused on lusting after cheaper games like Metal Slug or Windjammers on MVS. Also a Crime Fighters board thanks to @ChrisBEANS

Super Side Kicks 2 is my fav, back in the 90’s this got loads of play on my home system. This is from someone who has zero interest in real football. Great fun game, very competitive.

Windjammers is absolutely essential. Data East's Street Hoop is also great.
