Hey guys
thinking about enduring the unendurable...
selling off both my cabs and switching completely to LCD TV via MAK.
is there a almost perfect solution for having a good picture of a 55" LCV TV
Framemeister can output some games but is obviously not made for PCBs and looks ****.
So I was thinking OSCC or XRGB 3 maybe?
cheers

Re: PCB to LCD TV
Framemeister worked great for me before I had cabs with all my PCBs. Correctly set up it also looks great and I even played Bullet Hell and Fighting games despite the lag. With a good TV or Beamer I couldn´t feel any lag.

Re: PCB to LCD TV
OK but does it work with all PCBs?
I remember having issues when trying it with a CPS2 game

I think you will regret it. Keep the cabs if that's still an option.

I think you're better off switching to emulation if you're going the LCD route, it's just a ballache to have all that stuff scattered around just to get a picture. OSSC will most likely give you a headache anyway or just plain not work because your TV will probably not like the different sync rates of (some) pcb's.

Re: PCB to LCD TV
I use a supergun (Sigma 1AV) through an OSSC into a 24" Dell LCD monitor to play my PCBs. I really love this setup, and it has close to zero input lag (zero from the OSSC, only 5ms from the monitor).

Re: PCB to LCD TV
I use an axunworks supergun + OSSC with a lcd for my supergun setup, and the only bord thats gove me problems is Taito f3 with its weird sync.
Framemeister/xrgb-mini adds one or two frames of delay, so better to use ossc.

Re: PCB to LCD TV
Is that with a monitor or with a tv? I’ve had worse results with a tv. And although results do vary i think monitors are more forgiving generally
