As for the game, I like it a lot. It's a faster paced, more offensive game than SDOJ. It plays like DFKBL on speed.

I would speculate that we'll see a couple more Exa Labels before CAVE even consider developing a new game. I believe SDOJ took a year to make and they sold around 350 kits and it wasn't profitable enough to continue arcade development.

I have a really hard time seeing Cave getting back to making arcade games. If it wasn't profitable for them in 2012, why would it be now?

I think it's way more likely exA will just hire someone like IKD and license a Cave property (à la Beestorm) or just make their own thing. Personally, I would love to see original IP. Bump Fire Lancer from Wonderswan to exA.

Sounds like you're closer than me! Stage 4 boss always gets me. Mostly because of stupid mistakes in stage 4 which cost me all my lives.

It took me a while to realise button 4 bypasses the hyper and is bomb only It helped me lower the rank in many places (especially stage 3).

I think each bomb you use lowers rank by 10 points.
