My New Astro City had a lot of very light swirl scratches on the CRT, I guess from where someone has polished it with a crappy cloth. It was just enough to catch your eye and be annoying, so I did some Googling and someone recommended "G3 Pro Scratch Remover", so I bought some off Amazon along with their 'waffle' applicator which is a bit like an exfoliating sponge.
30 mins of scrubbing later, and the screen looks much better. Really please with how it turned out.

After 15 mins I was like "WTF...is this even doing anything?", But then after 30 mins it was "Wow! This actually works!"

By the look of it you also polished off the blue inch anti glare coating . That’s why you’ve seen the swirls they were scratches in the top coat(anti glare)
