Glad I didn't jump in this. Still a shame how this went down. Would've been nice to see a new megadrive game.

I got the mails too. As it stands i’m not interested in it even if he would hand out free cartridges.
Anyone who is gullible enough to hand over some cash to fonzie can “order” it whether you preordered it a few decades ago or not.

I was in the same boat Franco, I'd written that money off. Will see if anything actually ships on the 16th.

The odds of Fonzie not only finishing a game but also one that actually works and is a fun and proper beat em up must be about the same as winning a euromillions jackpot

Off screen video of the first stage from start to end:

Apart from some wonky hit detection, it doesn't look that bad. Graphics are top tier.

Cart is pretty bespoke too:

3. What is the DATENMEISTER?
PAPRIUM is the second game, after VIRTUA RACING, to boast its own "acceleration" chip. This chip, DT128M16VA1LT aka "DATENMEISTER", was developed in-house by WM, is used by PAPRIUM primary as a audio chip and adds extra audio channels for both music and SFX. We used a back-door left by SEGA and rest assured: This is not some lame MP3 or WAV player, this is live digital audio in same fashion as the highest-end arcade machines of the 90's.

As for the headphone connector on the top, it's some thing called Megawire 4.0 and it will interface with their next game?

http://amb96.magicalgamefactory.com/

It's Sega levels of stupidity and I love it.

Fonzie delivered more than i expected, which is a surprise
Having said that, yes graphics are cool but gameplay seems janky as hell. It makes neo geo brawlers seem like fun. Can't really judge the enemy "ai" but i can't imagine that to be top tier.
For the people that finally received this i hope it fetches a lot of cash on ebay because that's about as much fun this is going to give.

I remember a colleague he’d fallen out with saying one of Fonzie’s faults was that he chases up on these crazy ideas like expensive custom hardware. Glad to see it actually came through.

Shame the game now costs double for new orders.

investor edition unboxing -

Glad I didn't bother with the stick, not worth the £'s from the looks of it. Shame the regular limited ed won't get the pink cart.
