Re: Jammacon + new adapters
Will this work with the Mega Drive 2? (I believe it has a different scart to the MD1??)
If it works with a MD2, I’ll take one that does 3 and 6 buttons please.

Yes it works with both MD1 and MD2 versions. The AV jack on the console is different alright so different cables are used but the SCART pinout is the same.

Gamecube working nicely with a bit of VJ

I'm also really happy that the Wii (game dependent) is working nicely with the GC cables![]()
(sorry for the absolute mess of a room at that point)

I look forward to giving the PS3 and xbox a blast in due course
What games on the WII did you get to work with this setup ? Or is it only GC games on the WII >?
Re: Jammacon + new adapters
Wish there was a Dreamcast adapter for this.

Re: Jammacon + new adapters
All sold out now.
Thanks to everyone who has bought these over the last years, hope ye all enjoy using them. I'll obviously continue to support them and help out there I can with regards to supplying daughterboards etc but I don't plan on anymore Jammacon's for the a while.

Re: Jammacon + new adapters
Well in that case I'm very glad to have found it and gotten in there while I still could.
Brilliant idea for a product.
Feedback left, and hopefully I'll be able to share some pics of it in use in due course.

Re: Jammacon + new adapters
Yeah, likewise. I’m scooping up all of the Metal Slug series, and now Naomi roms can run natively on the Dreamcast, it’d be amazing to run MS6 and maybe Dolphin Blue on a JAMMA cab with effectively real hardware.
Cheaper to buy a DC, mod it to take an SD Card, than to buy either game, let alone both!!
Real shame this project has come to an end, but I absolutely can’t wait to play some Bloodlines on a cab in the near(ish) future!

Re: Jammacon + new adapters
Guys,
just wanted to share some further options how to use this great jammacon board.
For all of you who are familiar with MISTER FPGA project I might want to share details how use my MISTER on my Jamma Cab.
Working great with the JAMMACON board - and might want to share my setup with the community.
With support of the BLISSTER pcb and related high speed ports I tried to use BLISSTER setup with the "Jammacon board"
The jammacon board was initially inteded to support consoles via VGA2scart cable and specific console adapters to jamma interface.
So I ordered 2 Highspeed adapter plugs for SATURN adapter (just to support up to 6 buttons) and just use the jammacon board in combination with the high speed BLISSTER board.
--> MISTER with BLISSTER
--> VGA2Scart cable into JAMMACON board
--> 2x HDMI to Saturn Adater cable from JAMMACON Saturn Adapter into BLISSTER HighSPeed ports
--> Jamma interface into the ASTRO Cab Harness
Works great without latency vial Highspeed LLAPI cores.
I don_t have pictures on my hand for now but can send some if anyone is interessted.
