Re: PS5
Okay... The PS5 is actually not as big as the unveilings led me/us to believe... It seems the size is quite acceptable. The dismantle video guy must have been the size of a 12 year old or something.... Because it looked massive there, granted angles and such. I’ve placed a 180g bag of Doritos to compare. However... the console is very heavy like PS3 fat heavy. Oh yeah, it’s also not as strange looking in the flesh...
The mat finish on the shell is like high quality toy plastic with a leathery texture...
The PS buttons icons indents on the controller can’t really be seen with the naked eye... had to do a close up with the phone. It feels very premium in the hand and that too is kinda heavy compared to past controllers.
Here’s some pics.

Yeah, just to be safe, I’m gonna wait for a few more updates. There’s been too many patch problems for my liking. Gotta also rearrange setups before plugging it in and that in itself is a blag... it’s too big to fit in those ikea cubicles.

Re: PS5
imagine all those disappointed kids on crimbo morning working their way through updates after my xbone debacle of waiting nearly 2 days I swore off all these new consoles... It looks nice though
<trk>:I remember catching a big fat one and my friend said "throw it back in, that one already tastes like wood"

Re: PS5
Yeah, I'm always weary about that... for instance for my kids bday, we got him the vanilla ipad and had to do some preparing, accounts, updates, games downloads and then more updates, before his actual birthday.
I'll be doing this with the PS5...
Been reading on farcebook where parents say "can't wait to see the children's faces when they open it on Christmas day!" Updates for both games and console with kids hassling the parents is all I can see...

Re: PS5
Haha yeah, they’ll be waiting for the black version this time round.
Only kidding! Since the panels come off relatively easy, I don’t see why they can’t just sell limited edition designs of the panels themselves.
If they really did want to do limited eds of the console, just the panels won’t be enough because of that fact. They will have to make the main black section a different colour too.
Though it won’t surprise me if they do the bare minimum and say it’s a special edition...
