Arcade questions that don't deserve a thread

Post by MrJBRPG »

This is a topic designed for arcade-related questions, such as repairs, game settings, etc. that users don't think deserves it's own thread.

Question:

Does anyone possess the arcade version of house of the dead scarlet Dawn? If so, how can they access game settings (coins, difficulty, etc.)?

I think that question deserves its own thread if you want a reply. Why do you ask?

You can go in to the settings using original Sega type 4 I/o and the service buttons..... also you need an original type 4 gun board to have it access the menu ...

So why you ask :-)

What joystick is stock in UK NUC's?

I can't make out which one it is in mine, it says LS-3 something something so I assume a kind of Seimitsu. They have black shaft covers and have a fairly long throw so they're definitely not LS-32's.

Thanks, the answer was in the text. Both have LS-33 printed on the pcb.

That's a great link. I picked up a couple of refurb Seimitsu's recently, both had LS-33 on identical PCBs, both were described as different models and both use identical bodies, microswitches and PCBs / gates. Only the mounting plates and shafts differ.
I was there thinking 'do I actually know what the hell an original Seimitsu stick is supposed to comprise of?!' Most of my sticks are refurbed from other people!
