Yes, you will find it much less pressure than CoC.
We are now in a clan called ‘The Splitters’.

Ary is holding AO to stop some chode appropriating the name.
The Splitters is an AO sub clan on CoC, we use it for a second, chodier team for War League.

Nice one. I’ll take a look over the weekend provided I can drag myself away from Star Wars: Squadrons...

Re: Chode of Chodes: CoC talk in Chode Hall
Supercell sent out a mass email to all IDs advising that anything joined to an ID will be a permanent join come September, and by a stroke of luck (or deliberate policy, knowing them) they included the ID as the To: field. Turned out my previous look in was a fail, and my account(s) still exist.
A quick effort at selling the account fell flat. It's worth next to nothing on the open market, so I thought I'd do a few raids and poke about just to see how the game plays nowadays.
In the time that has passed, they appear to have fixed every complaint I had about the game back in 2018. Of course I'm now 5 years and 4 town halls behind. Some of those fixes (like making Builder Base not suck) only came in recently. Feels like it's in a good place generally, so I'm back playing again - and not as stupidly active as I was... needed(?) to be back then.

My 2nd account is accessible too and a near max heroes TH11. If anyone else that quit in the past fancies playing again I'll happly hand that one over to you, I don't fancy getting back into multiple accounts.

Re: Chode of Chodes: CoC talk in Chode Hall
I've finally got Rossys attention and am back in AO . The guys are still warring regularly and doing a decent job of it.
Biggest change was this time last year - armies no longer require resources to train. Knock on effect is that elixir and dark elixir are far easier to acquire, with whatever army one desires. They've also capped levels for war clan castles and added instant hero recharges (well, a single instant recharge depending on how long you've been idle) so hopping in every so often and doing two raids back to back for ridiculous (in terms of 2018 levels) loot.
Maybe it's just me seeing it with fresh eyes but it feels like all the stuff that makes it fun in the early game has worked its way up. There's still a hero grind but it's not the fun killer it was back then, and there's a fair bit more freebies.
All power to those who stuck with it until it was fixed.

Maxed my TH12 walls yesterday. TH13 incoming as soon as time allows. Loot is abundant, and while I'm playing a fair bit it's way down on last time.

Re: Chode of Chodes: CoC talk in Chode Hall
I did. Being in a clan where I can't war (all heroes upgrading) or participate in CWL (not in top 15...) is not fun.
TH13 walls maxed this morning. TH14 in the next couple of weeks, I'm going to have to pause elixir upgrades to build my scattershots.
