Lol, I don't love the look of the remake, too vibrant for me from the brief look I had of it.pangs initial suspicions were right by the sounds of it, I wish company's would stop releasing such broken crap, its putting me right of everything these days.

Re: Super Nintardbros!
Didn't really enjoy Orta, and never got to spend time with the original when I had a Saturn.
If they manage to patch it all up properly and LRG confirm their print will contain all the patches... maybe I'll have a go? Dunno, rail shooters aren't something I've ever particularly enjoyed bar Star Fox on the SNES (and that solely as a product of the time and place).

Yesterday I received a Japanese Gamecube and Game Boy Player. No AV cable so I ordered a Carby v2 HDMI thing which arrived today.

Holy **** Code Mystics NGPC emulator is a wonderful thing. I hope SNK release a ton of titles. Great to have them in portable form of course but having a 55" NGPC on my living room wall is quite something!

Re: Super Nintardbros!
It's one of the few consoles i never owned or even played on. Worth getting into this in 2020 without any nostalgia? (i know i could fire up an emu but for some reason that's different )

Dunno, I was a massive NGP fan back in the day - I had 99% of the library - there are some outstanding games but most aren't very deep. You could get through the biggies in a couple of weeks then move on.

Re: Super Nintardbros!
It's easily my favourite handheld. Wonderfully designed, cool shells, best d-pad ever (Pac-man even came with a clever little 4-way restrictor!) and SNK and the teams they brought onboard did a remarkable job of scaling down their games whilst keeping them just as playable. Naturally they didn't have the third party support Nintendo had already established but still managed to pull off the odd surprise like Sonic Pocket Adventure*. Sadly Aruze killed it off before its time.
*Fun fact, Sonic Pocket was loosely based off Sonic 2 and developed by SNK under supervision from Sonic Team. Several members of the development team formed Dimps after SNK folded and worked on the Sonic Advance series.

I stumbled across this earlier:
It's the first time I've seen any of the Labo gear and it was actually really interesting, especially the reading of the custom waveforms

Re: Super Nintardbros!
Nice one cools, I was looking to buy a PC/Switch joypad and I was looking around the forum for mentions of the 8bitdo SN30/SN30+. I found these posts of yours and dug out my old 8bitdo NES30 pad and got that working with my Switch That's breathed some new life into some otherwise draw fodder.cools wrote: ↑May 25th, 2017, 11:04 am Yeah. Firmware update on the controller required. All controllers supported.
