That is one of those great news for all cave fans everywhere. One of those "bigger niche" companies.

I heard that the coronavirus has hit the world hard, and looks like physical events have scaled back, including the "spring festival". Looks like we won't have physical events until the pandemic slows down. In the USA, many arcades are closed as non-essential entertainment, which makes arcade business a disadvantage sometimes.

Regardless, it is great the Exa Arcadia is keeping themselves busy through some announcements like this..

Yep, I noticed that too. It seems likely that Exa staff are handling the port.

I‘m skeptical, on the other hand the 360 mode is a lot of fun.

A lot of people complained about the 360 input lag. If they can fix that and add enough exclusive content, then a lot of people will be happy.
Also, @Shou? :shifty:

I'm right there with you. I was hoping for a Galuda 2 but oh well.

Is this being developed by Cave or is the Exa team just porting over and touching up the 360 extra mode?

I'm hopeful that that the Exa team reworked the HD code and IKD programmed the new mode.

Good news - many people didn't get the chance to play this on a cab.

Good call. 2 frames.

Great to know Cave are onboard. :awe: The Exa catalog of games is growing nicely as promised.

Off topic,
Does anybody know if the Japanese government will be supporting arcades/leisure sector during the current Covid-19 situation?
I see Taito are temporarily closing a number of sites for example, here in the UK the government has announced plans to provide financial support.

I'm guessing an exa pc + game will be cheaper than what SDOJ goes for nowadays? Provided there even is one available that is.

It should be a bit cheaper. But it won't be the same exact game as the original SDOJ (this new version will obviously have exclusive gameplay differences - I am excited to see what they are!).
