Sounds familiar. Better send it to Twonk.

Man, i can get new 30A batteries for my turbofapper 2000 faster than this guy can find & hook up the correct power supply. I want to see what's on the cart/cd that came with it!

They finally tested it this week...

I saw the thing in person but not powered on or hooked up to anything. I was more interested in the nice CRTs in the same exhibition.

OK, I guess they've been in Hong Kong with the system for a while.

The event where it was on display was also selling these..

I hope people who bought this shirt lost their ability to reproduce. It's things like that that makes me ashamed of liking video games. :problem:

Something about the PlayStation font on the controller looks odd, though. :problem:

One of the bidders is the Oculus Rift founder Palmer Luckey, who is a quarter shy from being a billionaire. So yeah if he's one of the bidders... somebody is definitely paying in the end.

Yeah, I remember reading games forum comments with people playing bid chicken on a newsworthy rare item like this.

The seller ended up getting a fraction of the highest bid after actually finding his Lucky Palmer, way down the ebay bundle.

Can’t think what the item was. A NES cart painted gold by Nintendo USA probably.

I read somewhere that the owner was offered $1m before it was put up on auction, bet he's kicking himself now if true.
