Now I'm starting to doubt if you paid for your kit or not

The problem for me is that nowhere during preordering was there any mention of streaming or gameplay videos not being allowed. If there was, I would have gladly respected that wish by not preordering. I'm sure their silly stance is fine in Japan where you have hundreds of local shmup players, but everywhere else in the world you're lucky if you have a handful. There's no way to learn from another player IRL because there is no local community. Videos would have gone a long way to bridge that gap. It's just a stupid decision, and frankly, I don't see the positive side to it all, even in Japan. Will people clear the game faster if they see a video of how it's done? That's absolutely possible. The thing is though, it's a scoring game, not a **** visual novel. I remember Shou saying something to the effect of it decreasing revenue when players are playing longer on one credit. Well, if lines are forming and it's popular, I'm sure exA would be more than happy to sell another kit to the op.

I wouldn't mind testing the waters and seeing if I'm going to get a copyright violation for streaming the thing, however, my first weekend turnout was 0. I don't know if players here are banding together with Japanese players to protest the video thing or if it has something to do with exA possibly **** over the Devil Engine dev. Maybe I'll ask around.

Drama aside, the majority of the western kit collectors will not 1cc or get a decent score with this in the first few months anyway

The only western vid so far is a credit feed with no strategy. I doubt that will get taken down.

I played it yesterday and feels hard to calculate the mini hitbox point passing through the bullets .

Bomb system is very original and needs to be mastered

By the way , I want to try it in 4:3 CRT screen

I’m not used to LCD’s :awe:

Glad your stuff works. The only thing more frustrating than shiny new toys that don't work are shiny new toys that don't work but seem to work for the rest of the people.

Same here! Mine arrived today. It's rock hard, but in a good way. I guess the focus is mastering the bomb charge.

I also think that you boys are lucky to have more than one vewlix! 😅 I wonder how this would play on a 4:3 CRT.

It's a very slick looking game. The exa system is so tiny, but so heavy :D
