What about attract mode video? @Shou can you advise?
I doubt that'd be a problem.

My cart seems to be stuck in customs for the long haul. I swear if you get yours first I'll delete the forum.

I missed the mailman by an hour. Mine is waiting at the post office, and I'll be there as soon as it opens tomorrow.

Did people who bought the international version receive any notification that they are not allowed to stream/upload video, or are people just assuming the policy in Japan extends to international markets too?
This thing was in the box somewhere:

I missed him by about 10 minutes, but was able to flag him down while he was doing the next block.
I'm able to get the game running but not without the controls being four feet to the left of the display due to shenanigans. Not that anyone needs my input on the matter since I'm terrible at these games anyway; going to have a small meet over the weekend while the last bits that need to be done before this can go into the arcade are finished.

So how's the gameplay? I only played the smartphone game for a few minutes.
DDP style chaining and chucking bombs at the right moment to cancel bullets? Is close proximity a factor?

My quick impression is that you generally graze bullets to charge the bomb meter, then use the fully charged bomb projectile to bullet cancel, which generates medals and bomb meter refills. The red ship looks much easier to do this with as the bomb always fires straight ahead, while on the blue ship the bomb is aimed to the opposite direction you are moving.
I'll have a better idea of how it works when I don't have to play out of the corner of my eye. Sadly, it doesn't look like I'll have a chance to really dive in until Sunday.
