New PC, any good games to play?
Did a long overdue desktop upgrade, last game I really played on the PC was Call Of Durty 4: modern warfare, which according to steam I last played in 2011
I'm not much of a multi-player person, but I really enjoyed going through the story.
Since I last updated my desktop, everything is gamer-this, gamer that. Can't even get a proper motherboard without it having the 'gamer' moniker on it.
New PC specs:
Intel i9-9900k
z390 motherboard - they say it's the thing to get
32gb ram
Intel 760p Series 512GB storage (these things have a tiny form-factor!)
Nvidia RTX 2070 super
No RGB ****, except what comes with the motherboard and it's also on the ram-sticks as they were the only 3200mhz in stock + the case is completely black with no windows.

I'm currently playing through Doom (2016) for the third time. First playthrough was Hurt Me Plenty, second time Ultra-Violence, and now trying my hand at Nightmare. Gameplay is really solid and it's gorgeous even though it's a few years old now.

What kind of games to you like?
I like all genres of game, so there is a bit of a mix here, but Id recommend:
Shadow of the Tomb raider
Gears 5
Control
Guacamelee 2 (not graphically demanding but a great metroid/castevania style game)
The Witcher 3

Assassins Creed Odyssey is pretty good and Red Dead Redemption 2 if you want to push your PC.

Shooty games:
WarFrame (free)
Destiny 2 (free)
Titanfall 2 (Around £5, the campaign alone is worth that)
Slashy games:
Hellblade (Around £6)
Lords of the Fallen (can be had for £2)
Anthem is a good outside bet too. It's been absolutely slammed for its poor campaign and lack of content, but the gameplay is excellent and looks stunning on high settings. I liked it for the 100 or so hours I played it, and they are still improving it.

If you know or bump into modern PC games that support 4:3 resolutions, please let me know.
So far Ni No Kuni II has impressed me the most in this category. The "new" Shadowrun games also look really lovely and are incredibly fun.

+1 on Guacamelee. The original is great and the sequel is even better. It can just be really difficult at times (not to complete, but the optional side challenges are just brutal).

Man, Doom was a great recommendation! I started boldly with difficulty hurt me plenty, but soon came to me senses and reverted to I'm too young to die
