I haven't seen it for sale in a bit- what does it fetch now?
I sold it like 1 year ago for 250euro shipped.

There is one on eBay for £89 delivered but it's pretty scrappy condition. I got one earlier in the year for £60, vgc.

Yeah I saw that one too and I didn't think it would sell so fast for that price. I was recognizing this more like a $1000 game. Oh well, expensive stuff :(

That one was pretty damn mint. These are generally in poor condition or the less desired and censored Western versions (I guess that can be rom swapped easily?).

I'd say $1400 is pretty kerching for a Japanese Night Slashers, personally. Perhaps I got lucky, but I got a similarly pristine one last November for 88k yen. So, allowing for even a bit of inflation, I'd say $1000 is closer to being the price for a nice one :)

I was always under the impression it's just a straightforward ROM swap for the Western versions. So, just in case $1400 is the new going rate - maybe better to go that route!

Ah the ever so infinite discussion of worth.

There aren't any definitive "rates". One should only use them as guidelines. A thing is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. One was willing to pay 1400. Others might not.
