Price in Japan is 550,000 JPY or so which is set by the distributors not us. Likely no available stock in Japan until next year.

Yes, every game has a separate save for high scores.

So- on the fence.
Rival Megagun. Vritra Hexa, Aka + Blue, and Devil Trigger all catch my eye for this down the road.
Do we know if Devil Engine will have ignition content?
What are the chances that the Aka & Blue stuff sells out and is going to be hard to find? I.e.- do I have time to think about it and wait- or are we going to be assed out like some of those cave kits nowadays?
Thanks!

Re: exA-Arcadia
It is very, very unlikely that any of these games will ever sell for more than their current list price (= $3500 USD for game + motherboard). Aka to Blue is not a CAVE game.battlesmurf wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2019, 8:50 pm

@Shou
I have a question in regards to other custom IO board configuration. As noticed from the article in Arcade Heroes, Exa Arcadia works with any JVS boards, but the problem is that no other country besides Japan has experience with the JVS IO boards. I wonder if Exa Arcadia will support custom JAMMA boards such as Ultimarc IO boards, which is JAMMA friendly. Are JAMMA-based IO boards supported so that the machine is more compatible? Besides, the Exa Arcadia is Windows PC-based, which ideally should not give much trouble for custom IO boards.
Examples of JVS available solutions:

Other examples that are home-made, but experimental:

JAMMA-friendly, but not JVS adapted:

Arcade Heroes Exa Arcadia Preorders article, noting that recommended to have low lag monitor and IO board:

Re: exA-Arcadia
It's JVS compliant arcade hardware so should work with any cabinet with a JVS I/O board. Don't get hung up on it being PC based.
That's not true. Arcade operators are very familiar with this.

Re: exA-Arcadia
JVS has been well known since the late 90s. Tekken 3 came out it 1997 and that was already JVS compliant.
Unless you run a Raw Thrills exclusive arcade, I don't think JVS will come as a surprise to anyone.
