How much is fair to charge for a Waku Waku 7 MVS repair (original roms except for P1 which has been swapped for an eprom, but original rom is included)

There is one on eBay for £89 delivered but it's pretty scrappy condition. I got one earlier in the year for £60, vgc.Braintrash wrote: ↑October 30th, 2019, 5:02 pm A Japanese Nintendo 64 complete boxed mint; how much should I ask?

It is. The 1P Japanese version should be around double that price.

Yeah I saw that one too and I didn't think it would sell so fast for that price. I was recognizing this more like a $1000 game. Oh well, expensive stuffzak wrote: ↑November 12th, 2019, 3:31 pm $1400 for a pristine one last week:

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
That one was pretty damn mint. These are generally in poor condition or the less desired and censored Western versions (I guess that can be rom swapped easily?).suicider wrote: ↑November 12th, 2019, 3:43 pmYeah I saw that one too and I didn't think it would sell so fast for that price. Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
I'd say $1400 is pretty kerching for a Japanese Night Slashers, personally. Perhaps I got lucky, but I got a similarly pristine one last November for 88k yen. So, allowing for even a bit of inflation, I'd say $1000 is closer to being the price for a nice one
I was always under the impression it's just a straightforward ROM swap for the Western versions. So, just in case $1400 is the new going rate - maybe better to go that route!

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
Ah the ever so infinite discussion of worth.
There aren't any definitive "rates". One should only use them as guidelines. A thing is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. One was willing to pay 1400. Others might not.
