OK now that may be the craziest one yet. Is it really that rare? Better check my stash!EOJ wrote: ↑May 30th, 2019, 12:31 pm https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f349773299

Does the bag contain an AES copy of Metal Slug 1?

Try just sold a Haunted Castle for 178,200 yen. It sold in like one/two days, also
I agree, shocking game. I'd take the Neo Geo bag every time (with or without the slug)

I thought I'd try my luck with this - the last one ended at 68k "buy it now" after sitting there for 2 months (mint with art).Grinning Cat wrote: ↑June 14th, 2019, 5:31 pm It'll blow your socks/wallet off: https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/390962020
Whoever is bidding on this is nuts. The art isn't super expensive on its own either:

I'd understand if it was matching serial, but the art doesn't even have a serial number.

Crazy price indeed and probably an isolated case

Re: Items you can't afford on Yahoo Japan Auctions
Jesus! That price
I didn't ever see the 68k copy. I'm actually surprised that sat there for so long. If I'd seen that, and had the spare cash, I'd have been all over it
Try had one a while back (with no art) and it definitely sold for a lot more than 68k. At a guess, I was expecting this one would hit 90-100k...perhaps 120k if some crazy bidding war went down.
Annoying thing is, even if this is a pretty isolated case...I'm sure it'll still distort the market when the next one crops up

Yep. Looks like it's the version without Ultra mode though.

There's really not much point in buying Futari 1.0. It was mainly bug fixes as I recall. DFK 1.0 on the other hand has some interesting differences.
