yep. the TVs are around 50chf with remote here in switzerland. On the other hand a new mx4000 has more value than a 30 year old one with 20k hours on the clock.

To be honest, it’s not completely worthless, it’s just that buyers are rare and sellers needing rid will list on 99p auction, pick up only.

Splitting is the way to go as you can post the accessories.

With patience the TV itself can sell on Buy-it-Now for about £50.
If it’s a Beo4 remote then that’s £50 posted on BIN.
Then the Stand is probably £30-£50 posted.

It’ll just take a while to find buyers.

Are the ebay prices of around 3,000 USD for the Sailor Moon beat em up reasonable?

No. It regularly tops 100,000 Yen in Japan though so I've given up on that one.

All of my Beos came with original remotes too, two of them with matching VCRs.

Honestly, they're pretty standard fare as far as televisions go. Not poor by any means, but not great either. Pretty to look at, but if you're actually wanting to use the thing, pick up a Sony or a Panasonic instead.

£150 for the thing

I agree. You're buying B&O for the form factor and great sound. Sony for picture quality, every time.

I agree with your comparison to other sets but braintrash can get some cash for the Beo stuff. Seperated it has value. I explained the reasoning. The pick-up-only TV devalues the accessories that people otherwise pay to have delivered. A Beo4 remote is an easy £50 sale. I’ve sold two that came in cheap bundles like yours :whoopsie:

You’re paying attention to model number now? The BEO4 remote value was an example, just like your various TV models. Splitting the accessories that can be shipped makes sense to find more buyers.

This feels like a pointless debate. You’ve insisted all similar sets are only worth less than 10 euros and given examples. I’ve said it’s not completely worthless and given some other examples. It’s easy to search ebay completed listings. Perhaps this is unique to the UK but here there are a fair mix of dirt cheap quick sales, then many £50+, and some go for £100 and up. Patience is up to the seller.

I just don't think they're worth all that much, that's all. I actually sold the MX2000 last week. I asked 10 euros for it. Buyer was happy, I'm happy, it's all good.

Fair enough.

My mate bought a pub pool table for £50. It’d be worth £700 if someone wanted a pub pool table.

The Beos are decent sets, not the greatest PQ but I don’t think they’re worthless and past sales agree. Like many bulky items they can go cheap but if you’re interested in getting money for one, people do pay for them.

The rolleyes triggered me.

I think I paid £50 for my MX4000. It was local and I wanted to try one.

I’m pretty sure it ended up in the skip.

So I’m in the, if you’re buying, it’s £50 if the timing is right and if your selling, it’s £0 unless you are happy to sit with yet another massive CRT you no longer want in your house.

They’re not bad CRTs, but there are much better out there and as I can only justify one, I’m not willing to settle for 2nd best

Actually the MX4200 has a real flat tube und a very good picture. The TV was introduced in 2003 and it has an improved chassis.

What would a full Guwange kit with matching serials be worth?

Cheers

Interest check and valuation for Namco Exceleena II

Post by g60hot »

Hi All, is there any interest in the following cab, fully working and with no burn, rotate mech present and working.

Also, what would be the valuation in that condition?

PM me if you want, pic of the actual cab uncleaned.
