Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi! I've been in the arcade and pinball hobby for 15 years or so. I picked up a Blast City cabinet from Windy Gaming a few years ago, and have been lurking on and off ever since. My initial intention with the cabinet was to have something that could easily swap Jamma games (as most of my arcade cabinets were "classics", but I didn't want to kill a dedicated cab for this purpose), but the more I read this forum the more interest I have in schmups, dedicated candy cabs, etc.
It seems like you have a great community here, and glad to be a part of it!

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi, Paul / ohfivepro from Edinburgh here. I've been playing arcade games since I was a kid in the early 80s and have only just started to pick up a few pcbs for myself. Very lucky to live near the excellent Konbo Arcade Cafe so that's where I get most of my gaming done these days. Look forward to chatting about arcade games here and picking up some tips on the technical side of things, of which I currently have no clue!!

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hello everyone. I am very new to the arcade scene. I bought my first Astro City about 6 months ago and it arrived with a nonworking monitor. I hope to make some new friends here on my journey to getting this baby working. I love Japan and I love old arcade machines, so this place seems like a good fit. I've already met great people locally that are into the hobby, so I really look forward meeting more of you.

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hello!!
My name is Chronis and I come from Greece. As I child I grew up smashing those arcade buttons at every local store. Pinballs too ofc... My parents, at some point, had to buy me a home-micro computer just to keep me a "bit" more occupied at home, rather to see me spending all that dough at the arcades!
Anyhoo, I recently managed to buy a Naomi Universal Cabinet, which now decorates (in fully working order) my office. I'm in the process of refurbishing it and upgrading it (panel with more buttons, maybe install a NetDimm , etc) and will surely need all the help I can get!
