Great to hear that!Jughead wrote: ↑March 18th, 2019, 12:26 pmMine is a Taito Vewlix L purchased from the container that the very helpful Jon brought over (and by the looks of it might have more Vewlix and others to sell soon).
Had all the Taito bits inside including a Taito VS board.

Monitor you recommend only has HDMI inputs. I see my vewlix fc is currently connecting with DVI(not sure but its not HDMI) and it is
connected with Naomi and Taito X2 with that connection. If I switch to this Monitor, how can I connect to those Naomi and X2?
Probably hdmi to dvi cable do the trick?

DVI to HDMI just needs a simple passive adapter. There's no conversion involved.
However, I guess you're thinking of VGA, because Naomi only outputs VGA and not all Type X2 games work with DVI. You need a powered adapter for VGA to HDMI. Not all adapters are created equal and most cheap ones are usually poor.

Anyone try an OSSC on any of these screens?

Re: Vewlix: Replace easily your screen with a 1080p or 1440p monitor
Quick question. Received my cabinet and the monitor stinks and is only VGA even though I paid for an HDMI/1080P monitor. I am not really going to use my cabinet for newer stuff (Tekken 7, SFV, etc). Basically just playing retro games via Mame (Capcom brawlers, Neo-Geo, X-men, shmups) and will add my Dreamcast and probably Saturn into the Cabinet at some point. Might also do 360 for the updated versions of the Cave shmups.
So with all that said would I do alright with a less expensive monitor like:
https://www.newegg.com/lg-32mp58hq-p-31 ... 6824025365
https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16824025428
Or is it really worth me doubling my cost for something like the LG-32GK650F-B or LG-32GK850G-B Monitors?
Also I've only seen LG monitors suggested here. Is there a reason for that?
Lastly, on a side note will either of the more expensive monitors fix the screen tearing so prevalent in Mame games?

If you are playing mainly retro games you will be better off with a CRT screen like in an Astro or Aero, old games don’t look good on these modern cabs.

Have to agree... old games just isn't the best on a modern LCD. Maybe if you go OSSC it may look OK?

Hi, is it normal for the monitor that comes with the Chinese vewlix to have so much input lag?
I recently bought this arcade and to my surprise it is unplayable.
It has a lot of input lag.
The monitor is 1080p and has HDMI/VGA connectors.
I can show photos.

There aren’t any rules when it comes to a Chinese reproduction. They could stick any monitor in there. Did the seller list specs for the screen?CGdfc wrote: ↑November 18th, 2019, 11:41 am Hi, is it normal for the monitor that comes with the Chinese vewlix to have so much input lag?

It’s normally processing that causes the worst lag. If available, try The usual things for TVs. Set to game/pc mode, turn off any processing options, Feed it a native resolution signal.
The only way you’ll know if it’s faulty is by finding out the exact model and manufacturer of the panel. It might just be a case of it being a rubbish panel for gaming or it might be fine when set up properly

Yes, I took several photos and can do more.
It's strange, that some menu options, I can't edit them.
I don't know if there is any secret menu or something to remove all the image processing.

nobody knows anything?
I honestly don't know how they can sell an arcade, with this input lag.
I have seen tutorials to change it for an LG monitor etc ... but I would like to know if I could save this monitor or change it and throw it away.

I have not seen any information on the monitor, I do not see the typical stickers with the information.
I've only seen some number of the pcb that I can see from the holes.
V315H1-XRPH2
SZTHTFTV1892 V11

Salut,
In english:
How change betweeen DisplayPort and HDMI without touch the monitor ? (No access to the button in Cab).
