Very low serial number. I wonder if there are gameplay differences.RMRM wrote: ↑January 14th, 2019, 1:36 pmThe eproms are different. Maybe a location test??zak wrote: ↑January 14th, 2019, 12:49 pm

I think system11 has another variant too. It was the first game on their first hardware so perhaps not surprising.

It does have mask roms and a proper Banpresto logo on the PCB, but has custom eprom labels and no heatsink on the audio amp + different parts here and there from what I can see on the blurry pic.
Korean board maybe ?

Likely the export version.
Amazing how a heatsink and labels can affect the price so much

Why on Earth is a loose Pink Sweets PCB where the 1P side inputs apparently don't work going for over 100K yen?

Oh, of course, proxy bidders.
EOJ's tracking thread seems to indicate a kit sold recently at Surugaya for not much more than this...

Re: Items you can't afford on Yahoo Japan Auctions
Fair point, but that bare PCB with broken 1P inputs on YAJ just sold for 17K yen more. Makes no sense!

Yeah, 166,000 yen is crazy, but if you are a proxy bidder (who doesn't know about Suruga-ya) and all you have to go on is Tops' prices, you just saved 100,000 yen!
Then again Suruga-ya is crazy in their own way. I mean, they want 818,000 yen for a SDOJ kit.

You need to use a middleman, of which there are many and they all have similar features.
When you buy something, they will hold it for 1-3 months (depending on which service you use) then you can combine the lot when shipping back to the UK
