Transporting a NNC
I'm picking a NNC up from John on Sunday in a van. The van isn't tall enough to stand it up so it's going to have to lie flat.
What's the safest way? On it's bacK? Or on it's front with the control panel removed?
Thanks

The latter. Take loads of padding.

Cheers. It might actually be easier to just remove the monitor in it's frame, then I can chuck the rest of the cab in any way it fits

Just remembered how brittle the monitor surround plastics are... Front would be a very bad idea. Dismantling it is much better.

Re: Transporting a NNC
I'd be tempted to lay it on it's side. The base will stop it from rolling on to the monitor "case", all the weight would be on the metal parts. I would only suggest this since it is possible to remove the monitor, it would be generally unprotected while moving it, and the control panel, while removable, does take a bit of time to get done.
I have only moved one NNC while standing, and once by breaking it down to major components, and it would be worth it to me to rent a U-Haul to move it again in the future.

Side is best. Both the plastic rear cover and the front monitor surround can crack from the weight of the monitor.

Thanks all. Turns out it will probably just stand up in the van. All the measurements online are wrong and give the height for the standup cabs

Probably because the marquee is included in the measurements. It's 13" or so.
