CP dimensions

Post by erzane »

Two questions about the CP
- I'm wondering about the stick hole: is it 18,5 or 18mm?
- Which material is used for all CP? Aluminium, steel?
Thanks

Different makes/models of cabinet have different shape/size of control panel.

They all tend to be either painted mild steel, or stainless. I've never seen an aluminium panel.

Can't help with as Pony18 panel dimensions I'm afraid

About the material: thanks for those infos.
About the hole size: I don't think the hole dedicated to the stick would be bigger or smaller depending the size of the cp

18mm sounds really small for a joystick hole. I think it's around the same size as a 24mm button hole on most panels. So unless you're mounting the joystick right against the bottom of the panel (which you shouldn't), I would definitely put a larger hole for the joysticks.
