Re: Two new naomi netboot options
So I have been having problems with all version of Piforce on my chihiro. I got a zerokey and the games boot but after a few minutes the game resets and gives me a Error 33 (Gateway not found). Piforce single doesn't work at all on my pi 3. Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this??

Re: Two new naomi netboot options
I've been using the "single" version without a trouble, but I simply cannot make the "web" version work.
I've tried a Pi2 and a Pi3 with the same result:
I get no access point named "Naomi" and the light on the raspberry doesn't blink, it's always red, so I'm sure nothing is going on.
On the the cab it obviously says "gateway not found".
Any idea?
Same hardware and same sd card, only the single version works

Re: Two new naomi netboot options
Just want to say thank you for this. It's a great solution IMO. It's much cheaper and easier to use SD rather than CF for me.devtty0 wrote: ↑March 27th, 2015, 2:25 pm

hopefully they will be of use to someone else

Re: Two new naomi netboot options
I was wondering if anyone could assist with getting this to work?
I'm currently using dev-tty0's Piforce Web chunksin's piforce web and can't seem to load games from the browser.
Setup is as follows:
- Naomi 1 mobo with multibios f/w
- Net Dimm with 256mb, f/2 4.02 and zero key pic
- Raspberry Pi 3B with 64gb micro sd and Piforce web version 1.2
- Naomi IP is set to 192.168.1.33
- Raspberry Pi IP details below
When I do a pc transfer of the bin file (eg transfergame.exe 192.168.1.33) <game_name>.bin, the games load up fine.
However, when I try and load it from a web browser, no game will load.
The ipad is successfully connected to the "naomi" wireless and I can see games when browsing a web page gg.com for example, but the moment I click on the game, the naomi system is just in a "checking network" state and the webpage just appears to be "loading" a page.
I've tried a cross over cable directly from the net dimm to the pi - same behaviour.
I've also tried connecting a cable from the net dimm to a hub, from the hub to the pi - same behaviour.
I can connect to the pi from my desktop so I know it's in the 192.168.1 subnet, I just can't get the pi to load the bin to the net dimm.
Anybody have any suggestions?
TIA
Edit:
I'm not sure exactly what happened, but the same setup now works properly on the pi/naomi - I didn't change anything. I can't think of why it works now and not before.
Naomi IP is 192.168.1.33, I plugged a normal patch cable to the pi and connected to the naomi network, loaded a web page and launched a game!
Shortly after my monitor died, the whole thing started working via Piforce-Web

Re: Two new naomi netboot options
Anyone know if the Pi4 is supported yet? I know it just came out, but I need to create my own PiForce Tools loader so I am buying a new Pi Setup. Also, anyone know where I can get info on using the touchscreen LCD instead of the 2x16 display?
