Re: Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection
id say so , the dock is "optional" to use and nintendo are now offering a dockless bundle switch in Japan

Re: Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection
By plugging it in to the wall
The mains charger and USB-C cable in the box plug straight in to the bottom port.
I have a portable battery charger too in case I get caught short. The battery’s pretty lame.

Ok, lots of things I didn't knew about Switch. I always charge it from the dock and thought it is the only possible way. Thanks, guys

It's pretty decent on the d-pad buttons. Terrible on the sticks. No good for serious play though, you'll rip holes in your thumb. They might have added some tolerance in, I can do supers more easily than on a stick!crunchywasp wrote: ↑May 31st, 2018, 5:39 am I’d have the Switch version without a second thought if the console had a proper d-pad
It’s bound to be horrible with the pseudo d-pad buttons and analogue sticks.
I'm quite impressed by the whole release. Apart from the "arcade" screen filter which is absolutely terrible (the TV one is alright), it's nicely put together. Widescreen is included on 2nd Impact and the museum is pretty comprehensive if you're looking for that kind of thing.
Various reviews and opinions around the web complaining about versions and it being a Capcom cash-grab. It's the only bit of cash Capcom have had from me for Street Fighter since Alpha 2 was released on PC, so I'm not begrudging them anything.

I can’t imagine how they’d be suitable for a fighting game but I found the directional buttons to be very nice for NES games and Crypt of the Necrodancer.

Re: Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection
Do you have any of the 8bitdo controllers ,maybe better but i suppose it doesn't fix the issue in handheld
you could modify the contoller with one of these

Yes I 8bitdo.
Never actually used them. I’ve just bought SFA with those in mind.

Same, although not their stick. I keep meaning to pick one up but had no justification for it.

Re: Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection
Have to say I'm well impressed so far ,better value than usf2 anyway , If I was to have any gripe not being able to select world /japan would be it but well worth the price ,I find the stick ok on the switch no better or worse than the d pad , qc and charges seem ok ish to me , I could do with a fight stick but why start now !
Considering its 20 odd quid for 12-13 versions of sf it's well worth it.
widescreen is an option on all by the looks of it . arcade filter is odd but looks ok in handheld.

Is CPS2 not something between, like 12:7 widescreen.

Re: Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection
The arcade version of 2nd Impact has a widescreen mode available in the operator menu. This option was removed in 3rd Strike, making 2nd Impact the only CPS III game to support widescreen.

Re: Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection
The widescreen mode in New Generation was 99% complete, but not available in any menu.
