Just interrupting this thread to bring you Brie Larson dressed as Zero Suit Samus for Halloween. Carry on.

Octopath is great. It’s got me off of ITB too.
skykappah wrote: November 1st, 2018, 10:15 pm Ahh okay.... didn’t want to do it... but if I have to I will, walkthrough/wiki etc it is!
FTL’s similar in that it’s nails but it really pays to persevere and push through the pain barrier. As Mark says, once you’ve unlocked a few more capable squads and pilots you make progress and can’t put it down. The Frozen Titans squad are great.

It’s about moving enemies around the map and using the scenery/other enemies as much as destroying them outright with weapons. Again as Mark says, it’s important to sacrifice mech health for building health most of the time.

Nintendo knows marketing. I absolutely hated Smash Bros on the Wii U, but I still wonder if the upcoming game is fun, thanks to the last trailer.

Maybe I'll just get into Pokken. :whoopsie:

I bought R-Type Dimensions EX, while it still was reduced ,before hand i really didnt like the look of the new "3-D" look feature. I still don't but its not as terrible as it looked from the screen shots .the flow from the 2-d to 3-d with a flick of a button is a nice feature and works well if not a bit gimmicky..Still only going to play it in 2d though ! and Im still **** at it. :problem:

It’s back compact on the Xbox one, I fired it up a few months back. I’ll not be buying it again, but there is hope they will port over some of the other Xbox 360 stuff to switch

I’m 40+ hours in. As old school JRPGs go, it’s pure 16bit 90s square perfection.

The switch is well suited to this type of RPG.

Yeah, I didn't care for old school JRPGs either. About the only dialog heavy stuff I've liked have been graphic adventures and the Ace Attorney series.

Have Tecmo actually inserted the game into an actual Switch yet? I mean it’s a Nintendo console... it’s coded to explode as soon as it realises it’s outputting boobies.

I backed the Flip Grip on KS and a couple of them arrived today.

For $12, i'm really impressed! The item has been moulded really well and switch and joycons slide in, lock and slide out nicely. There's some soft pads on the back face of the grip to stop the rear of the switch being scratched and it makes it fit nice and snug too.

The power and volume buttons can't be accessed with it installed but you can adjust the volume and put the switch to sleep by holding down the home button. The only thing you can't do it power off completely but it only takes a second to remove it from the grip if you needed to do so. One of the cooling vents is 'blocked' when in the grip but apparently they've done a lot of temp tests during development and there haven't been any major temp rises/issues. Time will tell I guess.

Playing with the switch vertically is actually really fun. I've just been playing Dragon Blaze for longer than what I probably ever have done on a cab

Accidentally double pre-ordered Smash Bros. First one was placed back in June. How am I supposed to remember that? :palm:
