Alright, thanks for the info. I've an itch to play the sequel.markedkiller78 wrote: ↑October 3rd, 2018, 10:32 am I only played it handheld mode, ignoring the hub, it was faultless. I think the hub is a higher resolution and 30FPS.
You spend next to no time there, and I think it still runs at 30FPS docked
Emulation's nice when done well

Re: Super Nintardbros!
cant get into this at all , found it way to grindy from the start , I do prefer it in docked mode , I did give it another go and found it a bit better but it was still way too much work....its looks nice though. i will go back to it eventually.FrancoB wrote: ↑September 27th, 2018, 12:29 pm Playing Hollow Knight at the moment. Bought it on PC ages ago but I didn't give it enough chance and sacked it off. Started it on Switch again and I'm loving it. I'm about 20hrs in at the moment. Frame rate is a bit poop in water sections and tbh it seems worse in docked mode which is strange as I thought it was meant to have a bit more grunt when docked? That aside it's pretty rad
Can't get enough of that Geo

Re: Super Nintardbros!
Seems that launch Switches with firmware 1.0.0 can be hacked fully in software, no hardware tricks required. Which is nice. Mine's still in it's box.

Mine has homebrew and is on firmware 6. You can keep updating because the exploit works on the older nvidia gpu.

Anything above 1.0.0 needs hardware.

Re: Super Nintardbros!
Pin bridging isn't necessary on 1.0.0
I have no desire to do anything with either of mine, just wondering how long it takes me to decide to sell an unused launch model

Wonderful game, glad more people get to play it but hope it's a better port than Bad Dudes.

Re: Super Nintardbros!
Had a few goes of Into the Breach... It’s so hard that I don’t find any enjoyment in it. It has no learning curve and it starts so high and keeps on going higher. With little precious video game time as it is... I’d prefer not crying whenever I play a game.
Waste of my money....

Re: Super Nintardbros!
I had to buy something else to stop me playing ITB. A couple of the mech teams are awful, but it’s such an addictive game.
I’m currently playing octopath traveller. Despite my issues with the switch hardware, give me a smaller, dedicated handheld with a “good” battery and d-pad nintardo the software is brilliant. I love the switch

I haven’t been fortunate enough to get to an addictive state... I’m always about three parts into my first island and then I fail the mission, perma death then it starts from the beginning again? I would have thought being an Advanced Wars and tactics game fanatic would help... it just doesn’t....

Re: Super Nintardbros!
I ended up on the wiki. Its better to sacrifice mech health than loose a base. The first mech team isn’t the best / much fun to play. Don’t worry about perma death. Once you unlock a pilot, they stay unlocked.
Also, drop the difficulty to easy as the **** squads are murder.
Octopath traveller is the tits. Definitely lived up to the hype for me.

Re: Super Nintardbros!
Ahh okay.... didn’t want to do it... but if I have to I will, walkthrough/wiki etc it is!
I have Octopath sitting here. Not opened it yet... stupid addictive Stardew Valley took away something over 100 hours of my life...
