Post by Rezwalker »

Hey guys

ive search a bit before posting but didnt find any usefull info about it

I would like to add a 3.5 mm headphone jack on a E2, NaC, Ac , NNC , windy 2

i dont know if there is a adapter (jamma) i can use or i need to do a bit of soldering

i want to plug regular headphone to my cab when the wife is sleeping or the kids ( i got some urge to play tgm 3 and night and the wife cant stand it lol :p )
but during the day i want to use the regular speaker

if anyone did it in the past or anything i need some tips on how to do it

Thx guys

Franco B made some a while back. They were JAMMA pass through adapters that spliced of the sound to a 3.5mm headphone jack. With headphones inserted the audio would be cut from going to the machine. With no headphones inserted audio would work as normal.

Ignore the black wire on the right, that's a video ground.

There's a french guy selling a similar JAMMA adapter on eBay if FrancoB has stopped making them.

Yep, our dear FrancoB definitely stopped making them. Imo those are great, however he made them like this as it's pretty universal. Should you be using stereo boards like CPS, Naomi, Konami whatsoever it would be better to make yourself a passthrough adapter between your stereo amp and speakers, bit neater regarding the cables as well.

i really want something plug and play
i mostly at 99% play only Cave shmup and tetris tgm
and unless i find a deep tutorial on how to mess with the cable in the cab i wont do it

so the jamma adapter looks really appealing to me but now how to find one

It was this seller https://www.ebay.com/usr/retroworldcom? ... 7675.l2559

I don't see one for sale right now, and now I'm not really sure it had the headphone plug...
