Dragons Trap’s £8.99 again, or £7.22 for globe trotters.

I suspect the N64 mini will look like the Wii / Wii U VC.

It doesn’t look *that* bad in 480p. Sin and punishment looked pretty decent imo

Sin and punishment was a phenomenon when it appeared on N64. I remember N64 magazine review-ing it with high reverence and mentioning it for a couple issues afterwards, even though the game was japan only at that time. Good times for Treasure

Hmm, I don’t want to hack the Switch but it would be the almost perfect handheld emulator console.

I do like the Switch, only I would never play it enough to justfy getting one (don't quote me on this when I do buy one).

Seeing that looks pretty nice esp with the likes of Gunbird etc going to switch.

In the meantime the trusty old PSP GO with Dualshock will suffice (I know this is old hat, but the PSP was a cracking device, and the GO BT functionality was the icing on the cake).

edit: Having watched the video all the way through I note that it runs 3S pretty well ... that was where the PSP could never go. Hmm if Nintendo brings out a switch with translucent plastic I don't think I could restrain myself.

SF 30th Anniversary might be a winner on the Switch as 2nd Impact runs in true widescreen mode. At least on the PS4 it does, and it looked really good.

Reminds me, need to buy SF 30th.

I'm away again. This time I've brought my neglected 3DS, rather than my Switch. Needed to pack a little lighter.

Had a go of the new tennis game in the closing minutes of the demo last night. It’s absolutely brilliant! I think Nintendo may have just Mariokarted tennis.

Yeah, I was hopeless but my son showed me a few tricks. I was mainly just marvelling at it. The featured trick shots are great but it was more the little details, animations and responsiveness that add up to that magic feeling where it’s fun just to exist in the game. They’ve really made something special this time around.

I’m easily impressed, but it’s the little things that get me hard :awe:

Joycons are programmed with their colour, I never knew as I had grey
