Good controllers for Supergun modding
Are there any off-brand/knockoff controllers worth sacrificing for supergun compatibility? I previously attempted to make a simple controller out of a 6-button Genesis-style controller I had but the main controller chip was epoxy-capped so I had no idea where the VCC was running off from. Any cheap/knockoff controller that is uncapped helps.

Instead of modding a controller, why don't you use the Brook PS3/PS4 to Neo-Geo Converter. They sell them on www.arcadeshock.com.

If you are familiar with compiling for ATMEGA microcontollers you could built your own converter.
The source for my superguns is on github, converts Playstation/Saturn/SNES/NES/Megadrive/PC-Engine to Jamma compatible (+ autofire).
