Hey, I'm Bobby, a student from the South UK. I've recently bought my first pieces of hardware a Naomi and a Konami Viper (broken).
Currently looking to attempt to run Namco System 246/256 games on the PCSX2 emulator by modifying it, and have come here for some help!
Look forward to chatting to everyone soon!

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hello. Just wanted to say hi an introduce myself. I’ve been a gamer since I was young and grew up with the Nes, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast. In Vermont. We don’t have many arcades here and I’ve always wanted a cab, so last year I committed to building one from scratch. I hope to post some pics here sometime of my progress. Cheers

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi, I'm Archina! You can blame the Tetris the Grand Master community for getting me into arcade hardware. I've always been a tinkerer for electronics and not gonna lie, all this arcade tech is right down my alley. I've been collecting and working on my setup since 2015 and I'm now at the point where I've got a BVM, BNC switcher, built my own "super supergun", ect. It's gotten pretty nuts over here. For arcade hardware, my current lot is:
Mr. Driller 2 (Export Ver.)
Mushihime-Sama Futari Ver. 1.5
Puzzle Bobble
Puzzle De Pon
Shiritsu Justice Gakuen / Rival School x2
Star Sweep
Street Fighter EX2 x2
Tech Romancer x2
Tetris (SEGA System 16B)
Tetris The Grand Master x7 (had 15 at one point, yet I've sold most of them on to other players.)
Tetris The Absolute: The Grand Master 2 PLUS
Tetris The Grand Master 3: Terror Instinct
-
SEGA Naomi x2
TAITO Type-X
CAPCOM Naomi JVS converter
Right now I'm on the lookout for a good ROM programmer. I'm planning on flashing the BIOS for one of my Naomis (As well as a Dreamcast and Mega CD yet those aren't arcade), Helping another TGM member out with TGM2+ ROM mods and finally hoping to find something that can do a good dump of the ever elusive Sony ZN-2 78081G503 chip. All I can find is a bunch of cheap programmers on Amazon and some Willem ones (which I hear aren't the best of things.) So any help there is appreciated.
Anyway, how's everyone else's projects been going?

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi, I put the Josh in joshihatsumitsu!
As I collect a lot of games, arcade PCB's have been dominating, so it felt like this forum would be relevant to join.
I tend to convince myself that I collect for reasons of preservation (updated VAPS list here), but really, if I didn't enjoy it I wouldn't bother!
I've built the cabinets that I own, all from scratch, using all the original parts I can find. The last one I finished earlier this year... a throwback to Taito cocktail cabs:
There's more... but that'll do for an introduction!

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hello there,
I've been a member of jamma+ and Vacuk for a couple of years, thought i should sign up here too!
In the process of purchasing my first candy cab and currently own a Point blank (with a bodge monitor currently) and a pump it up dance machine running step F2.
Looking forward to increase my knowledge in fixing these issues that seem to arise!
