Not agree with Trap15 review.
Game is really impressive. Gameplay is very good and that's a really impresive difference than all other indie games.
It's more a R-type memory game (with more speedy and rough action) than a CAVE danmaku style.
He's better than all NG dev team i played (no offense but true).
And developpers made update with evolution on scoring system, game design and gameplay (like combo for scoring, adjustment for weapons value, etc...).

Video of Superplayer A-M on September issue (without combo update)

The game has been released unfinished and there isn't much to the gameplay (very obvious that the designers aren't experts on the genre). Compared to even NG DEV games, this is not worth the asking price.

Shou, I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. I've played the game twice and the game is actually good. The developers are promising additional content, via wifi updates for free.

DLC, free or not, does not mean things are going to be better and the fact everyone who defends the game use that sole argument each time is a real cause of concern, because it leads me to believe that you confirm what Shou said : unfinished now, but will be finished later, like all games on Steam. ;)

I've had it for awhile, before the last update, you could clear the first level without even touching the stick and mashing katana/shotgun combo.

it´s like playing the intro of Nothing else matters from Metallica. No left hand needed. And then you know that the song/game isn´t anything special.
We´ve risen up anew to drink the wine of vindication!

:-o I should do the same. Buy old woodies and sell them for 3500... :)
They told me that they are refurbished 25" Wells Gardner Monitors that they used for the dedicated cabs.

I still think the game is good from what I've played of it and am looking forward to the final build in June.

I would rather play any generic horizontal shmup from the 80's, like P-47...

They had some problems with the manufacurer of the casing, they had to use a backup manufacturer. That's why mine has been shipped last week.

If you manage to turn the egrets around you can put the game in one of them and rest your butthole on one of the astro's sticks :thumbupright:

I'd rather not, the hole still hurts from the parking prices here in NL. 1 hour 40min 7,20€ :problem:

Apparently, the game is very picky about 12V. Most JPN cabs don't output a lot of power on 12V, so if you're having issues getting it to boot up, there's your likely culprit.
