Lovin Thumper as well, especially in VR.
Rez Infinte in VR is mindblasting! Living the 80s dream feeling like in Tron.

Jamestown is a nice little game :)

I see that you can get a slim PS4 and a game for like £200.

I'm almost embarrassed not to buy one.

It would be nice to get a new console, but I barely play stuff any more, even the cabs.

That last guardian looks gorgeous mind, I loved Ico (but got bored big time with Colossus), we'll see how people like it later on this month I guess.

It's funny that most games pictured in the above posts are relatively small and graphically not very complex - you wonder why you need a powerhouse like PS4 for that :problem:

Guys, the port is being handled by DotEmu. They're absolutely terrible.

Yeah my heart did sink a bit when I read that. I don't even know why I'm excited, it's in near permanent residence in my games room. The games industry has got really good at selling me games I've already played. I'll be all over Wipeout and Crash Bandicoot too. :problem:

Last night I turned the lights off and started INSIDE. I could not stop playing until it was over, an unbelievable experience throughout, a masterpiece :awe:
A few of the puzzles stumped me, but never enough to give up, just the right level of difficulty for my numbskull. It took me between 5-6 hours in all and there were several times I thought I had reached the end, only to be utterly awed by the perfect transitions into the next chapter. There are a lot of hipster indie games these days, it's hard for someone like me (who has basically taken an entire generation off from console gaming) to know what to play. INSIDE is one of the worthwhile ones that shouldn't be missed.

Saw some gameplay footage of the Last Guardian. Had to stop the video, as it would be a shame to see any more.

Really want to get this now, and I can get a PS4 & TLG for £220. I keep hovering over the 'buy' button.

I bought one a week ago and haven't unboxed it, but there are enough exclusives to justify it now imo.

Edit: but hold out for a better deal. I paid £190 for a 1tb slim and 3 games. I'd be tempted by a pro if you can hang off a few weeks you'll get it for £300. TLG runs much better at 1080p on the pro. The std ps4 drops to the low 20FPS :problem:

If you don't want to wait or buy a Pro :shifty:

Cool that that shop to one comes with a different edition of the game.

Argos & Amazon do the £220 deal with the normal version of the game.

I said to myself ages ago that I would wait until there is a GT game before getting a PS4. As no doubt GT Sport will run better on a pro - and to hear you say that TLG drops to 20fps then I'll just have to wait it out a bit longer to get a deal on the pro.

Thanks for the heads-up on the 20fps that's a ****!

The 2 "free" items at shopto are a choice of games. No idea what amazon and Argos are doing as the deals change all the time.

I would and probably should have waited on a pro deal :problem:

There have been better alternatives to GT for years now.

I've played about 90 minutes of TLG. It looks like a PS3 game (because it kinda is), the framerate is indeed nauseating at times. The camera is annoying, the controls are clumsy and dated and the game is still absolutely wonderful.

I had some Yen going spare so rather than wait a week for the European release I downloaded the Japanese version of WGR.
The new characters are a handful at first (particularly Doris :hinthint: ) but it's generally fabulous, especially with scanlines on and the screen width set to 100.

Looks cool. I don't think I've played the original

I'm playing Dragon quest heroes whilst wait on the uncharted collection being delivered from the dark side of the moon, before I move on to uncharted 4.

I've got some catching up to do
