What's the fun there for the hobby guys who actually buy it play the games?
The amount of CAVE's shifting hands the last months has become less and the [WTB] posts increased. :eh:

I was just there this afternoon, and Akihabara is more foreigners than Japanese.
That's sad to know  but we can all see it on eBay and I'm lead to believe there is a lot of resellers onfacebook as well but I'm never gonna join to find out.

I do thinks stv absolute greed did a lot of this damage to prices, as for a very long time ,if it was "any buzzword game/company he bought /bidn on it" I've limited money to spend on this hobby and this stuff just drove me out.with the above stuff and retro being cool now and numerous bulk buying resellers it's just not fun anymore
Greed is /has always been in this hobby but it has ruined it now for me.

I don't mind small time resellers that are involved in the hobby as they are helping us get some games which is great....

i`m pretty sure the low interest rate in europe is doing alot to push the Prices. Like all bubbles, it will burst at some time.

What he said - the problem is people are treating these as 'investments' - it's like a lot of the NintendoAge kiddies with NES and SNES games.

Even faulty stuff is starting to get stupidly expensive - there was a Rainbow Islands that finished today with no sound - and it still went for about £200 before fees & shipping.

There are still some bargains to be had though - I just scored an X2 & Lindbergh Yellow for less than £180 for the pair.

Not sure if that's a good price but there's always someone looking.
