Namco system 246:Tekken 4 time release characters?
Only 10 default fighters available. Any way around this, or do I have to wait two weeks for Jin and week after that for next fighter?
How does the time release system works, dose it matter how much the game is on and played?

Did someone know if the unlocked hidden characters stay in memory when you remove the dongle off the motherboard?
I read that when you remove the dongle all hidden characters disappear

It should save the time release characters on the dongle. I bought a Version D from an operator with all characters released and when booted on my 246 mobo, all characters are selectable.eathis wrote:Did someone know if the unlocked hidden characters stay in memory when you remove the dongle off the motherboard?

Thanks a lot Shou
This is a great new.
I was afraid that it would work like atomiswave games, as soon as you remove the game from the motherboard you lose all your the unlocked hidden characters.

I received my Tekken 4 few days ago directly from Japan, it's a Version D and all characters are directly playable.
A friend use to have a Version D years ago and all characters were directly playable.
IMO the version D update unlocked all hidden characters.
My version is a version C updated in version D.
