Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi everyone. My name's Duncan, I'm from the UK and I'm new to the arcade collecting scene. Been intro retro games for a long time and recently gotten the bug to start collecting arcade stuff. I mainly have MVS carts so far but have picked up a couple of boards as well. I'm sure it's a slippery slope just like collecting for consoles!

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hi there,
Just thought I would take the time to post in here and say hello my name is DisQo aka David.
I am from Australia and a collector of Jaleco titles mainly.
No idea why I love Jaleco, I just do. I am in search of a Momoko 120% to add to my collection as well as Chameleon.
Once I have those two games I am well on my way to being able to say I am happy.

Hi I'm Chris from the UK, just getting into arcade collecting at the moment.
I had an old cabaret about 12 years ago that I converted to Mame, but have just recently picked up a couple of Naomis and a woody that I'm setting up for Vertical Schmups.

Your best bet is to either put up a wanted thread here in the market place or pm Ronnie, (Rklok) he sells plenty candy cabs, he's based in the Netherlands but ships to the UK.charliestokers wrote:Hi Guys

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hello everyone, I am from outer space and have no name... people just call me G.
I have been into this hobby called gaming since I landed on this planet back in the 80's.
...These days I find myself fixing and repairing hardware more than I do gaming.

Hello
Long time lurker, joined today as I am a big fan of arcade cabinets and own a Vewlix. Due to space constraints I lack a traditional candy but have my retro consoles connected to a Sony PVM. Hope to learn alot and to enjoy . I am from the Netherlands.

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hello, my name is Abelardo, I'm from Monterrey, Mexico.
I've been a gamer since mid to late 80s and became a console game collector a few years ago, anyways not too long ago I picked up a very nice Neo Geo MVS game lot & began tracking down an arcade cab, didn't had to wait long until someone pointed me to AO member Lunatico (via another forum, arcades.mx, Mexican arcade community), he sold me a nice working New Astro City and I've been hooked since.
I'm looking forward to read about hardware & also do some trading, Neo Geo MVS games are pretty widespread in Mexico, already own a decent collection of about 40 different games and I even have a few nice extra games & systems.
Thanks, looking forward to participate in the community

Hi Folks,
my name is Andy from Germany and I'm new to Arcade although I grow up with them. In my game room are currently only pinball machines. But now it is time for some arcades too.
Greetings Andy

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hey, I'm Quentin from Belgium,
I was under high dose of gaming since I was kid, even before we had tv at home I was playing on my dad's work computer.
I had a good opportunity to buy two nuc's a few years ago, played a bit with mame@31k (boooo) then bought a Blast city, the addiction had grown ^^, and I had to have a jamma compatible cabinet ... because of an other good opportunity for an "in the hunt" pcb, and this was my lunapark favorite back in the days at the seashoresea shore
(here in Belgium, most of luna's where located there).
I still have a lot of work to do on the nuc i've chopped down ( & now tated and back with its original guts) and on my old Blast with its much burned manual switch monitor...i will maybe try some Frankenstein mod with my nuc spare tube, cannot decide me to remove the genuine one :/.
Sega c'est plus fort que toi ! as we say in french.
